This experience has challenged me in ways I did not expect and has taught me about myself, as well as, working with others.
At the end of May, Tropical Storm Alma ravaged several areas of Costa Rica. During our 24-day Multi-Element, from May 21st to June 13th, eight course participants, along with two instructors, spent eight hours rebuilding part of a washed out road in the village of Piedras Blancas using rocks and soil.
