Put down those books and , raft, kayak, and surf through the exciting rivers and the Pacific Ocean, and enjoy breathtaking beaches and glowing sunsets.

Your adventure will start by rafting some of the more famous rivers in Costa Rica where you will learn about boat captaining basics with a senior CRROBS River Instructor in each boat. Captaining techniques will be accompanied by teachings such as river morphology, ferry angles, hardware and technical gear, rescue safety, and swift water terminology.

The adventure continues to the surfing phase where you will surf world class warm water breaks and learn from the professional surf instructors. Some of the topics covered will be surfboard handling and safety, paddling techniques, how to read the swells and tides, trimming (types of board riding), turning, and ocean awareness and rescue activities.

When you're not in the water, your instructor may choose to lead any of the following activities: Community service and conservation project, Manuel Antonio National Park tour, tide poor and mangrove explorations.
